2nd Server on the Same Machine

I want to migrate an installation of Frontier from one instance to 
another on the same machine (I want to clean everything up, after 
learning how to use the software in production :-).

What I want to do:
1. Redo the site templates and site structure
2. Import all the news items, users, and forums.

What is the most elegant way of doing this?
Can I install a second copy of the software without disturbing the first 
running on another port (WinNT)?
Does anyone have any experience with this?
