Figured it out. The web editors quickly realized the mistake (which 
came from the reporter who thought the editor would catch it and make a 
change) and not being able to edit the headline because of the bug, 
they asked my student tech who fixed it on the static site with BBedit 
and FTP.

(fyi content editors cannot edit news items that they create, this is a 
known bug and I hear that it is in the que. I helped to make us look 
real bad today and last night because we could not correct an error 
that we should have caught.)
