Update - Following up on an email from Lawrence:

The system hard drive has about 25 GB of free space. Two other volumes are connected: an internal RAID consisting of two 160 GB drives used for backup purposes and an external firewire drive also used for backup.

I have "saved a copy" of virtually every .root file (possibly /every/ .root) and replaced the previous versions with the new ones. I did this yesterday and decided to let things run for awhile before getting back to you.

Unfortunately, I'm still seeing Frontier fail a half dozen or so times per day. (Fortunately "Keep It Up" restarts the program within a few seconds.)
