Manila Best Practices?

I would certainly be interested in such a list also. I have been 
maintaining a Frontier/Manila
server for three+ years. Each literature major here is required to 
have one. Recently
we made the decision to move to a very large/powerful computer and 
start offering them
to the whole college. The new machine will be here shortly and I'll 
be running workshops
for various constituencies this term.
