AFAIK, the Frontier root update process, as written, cannot use authenticating proxies.

I recall once, many years ago, writing a version of an http client script that _could_ authenticate through that type of a proxy, but it's not a capability in the shipping version of Frontier.

You might investigate whether your Frontier computer can be made "trusted" by your firewall (possibly by IP or MAC address), allowing requests from Frontier on that computer to pass through the proxy without a username and password, yet still enforcing the need for username/password authentication with other client computers.

Otherwise, you'll have to modify some Frontier scripts to make it work through your proxy.
