May I take this opportunity to once again raise the issue of date formats in news items. This has been raised before. Currently the \{postTime} pseudo-macro in the news item template inserts the date in US format, MM/DD/YY. This format confuses anyone outside the US, who is used to DD/MM/YY.

In Prefs>Appearance there is a popup for "What format should be used for dates on your home page" which offers a variety of date formats including US and international. Can you please consider making this popup also control the date strings inserted via the \{postTime} pseudo-macro in news items. Thanks.

This is a Manila site.. http://manila.userland.com/.
