delete multiple news items/DG messages

I am managing editor of a weblog at schoolblogs.com

Setting up our blog i created a lot of news items and DG messages for 
test reasons. Now i want to delete all of them. Is there a more 
confortable way to do that, than entering the message number one 
after another on the admin site?
