Despite the network guys confirming that we weren't running the firewall - that turned out to be the case on further investigation today.
Selecting 'Userland Frontier' to be an exception (under Windows Firewall/Exceptions tab) enabled the requests to go through to Frontier
Now I just gotta figure out why the manila sites aren't being served, despite being re-installed. But I think I can do that.
