Wait, there's a better way to do this, isn't there?
If you're the server admin, go to the Manila control panel for your Manila server at something like http://mymanilaserver.com:5336 , and then click on your site's name on the home page, and look at about the eighth line of basic information, entitled "Database." At the right end of this line, there's a link named "move." Click on it, giving you a URL something like:
http://mymanilaserver.com:5336/?site=mySite&command=moveSiteTable
This gives you a wonderful little page - enter the name of a new file, like MyManilSiteNew, and Manila will take care of creating a /new/ database file for you and moving your site into it on the server. This makes backups and a bunch of other stuff easier, and more relevant, puts this specific site in its own new file that you can easily copy whenever you want.
Or did I miss something?
This is a Manila site... http://manila.userland.com/.
