OK, apparently I'm a rock, because I still can't make this work.

How do I set the "binary type" of the string to "XML"? I may have known how to do this long ago, but not anymore. :-(
* Is there really no easy way to use the site structure to get Frontier to serve a file in the file system, because that would still be easier and better for me.
