It might be worth at this point determining if you can reproduce this issue on a clean Manila install or not.

1) Backup your current Manila folder to another location.

2) Exit Manila, and rename the existing Manila application folder and then setup a new install of Manila.

3) After setting up the new copy of Manila, exit Frontier and copy across the manilaWebsites.root with this site file from the /Guest Databases/www/ backup folder.

4) Then startup Manila, open the application window. If the file was called manilaWebsites.root you should be able to just choose Window->manilaWebsites.root.

Then select the Manila site table that you are experiencing the problem. Choose Server->Install site and follow the on-screen instructions to install the site.

5) Then retest with the news items.
