By enabling the plug-ins one at a time it seems that the metaData plug-in is the one causing the error, and when metaData is unchecked it's just the "{manilaSuite.discuss.editInBrowser ()}" text.

Thanks for the help though Lawrence, but it seems as though I'll just have to restore the site from a backup.
