David - thanks for the advice. I had to slog through it myself to make sure I understood the manila interactions - they can be subtle and frustrating. It was particularly challenging to get a form POST to work correctly - it kept getting changed into a GET for reasons I still don't fully understand - but I seem to have found a range of incantations that get the job done.

I'm going to give Rico a try
