I upload individual images through the usual Manila web interface, wait 10 minutes then FTP the image to another server 100s of miles away.

I also bulk upload images via email with my extensions to email-to-blog. There too, I FTP after 10 minutes.

One point to remember is to never keep images in the roots, as this can dramatically increase the size of your roots. Always make adrMsg^.images.bits = nil
