If I understand your question correctly, you want to know what the aggregator is?

Apologies if I have this wrong..

If you go to the aggregator preferences in your site menu at:

/admin/sitePrefs/default$subscriptions

you will see a list of RSS feeds you can/have subscribe[d] to.

If you view http://www.yourdomain.com/aggregator you should see a list of the hourly news updates from the feeds that you have subscribed to. [Depending on permissions set] This can be set site by site or system wide.

Permissions:

/admin/sitePrefs/default$permissions
