Now I'm really stuck!

There is a link on my main site that gets a 404 error:

404 Not Found
The requested URL http://www.mainsite.com/extension was not found on this server.

If I change the URL to http://192.168.1.xxx/extension/ it works fine.

Why is this and what do I do to get it back? I have also had to do the same for the GEMS folder.

This is a Manila site... http://manila.userland.com/.
