Very, very interesting. Following advice from Steve Hooker I increased the RAM partition allocated to Frontier even more despite my reservations as more RAM seemed to indicate a slower launch time.

I increased the RAM allocated to Frontier to 350Mb, made sure Virtual Memory was turned on (to be +1Mb greater than physical RAM), did a re-start to to be sure and what do you know, Frontier launched really quickly! I reckon it launched within 2 seconds.

Confused? I know I am, but it works!
