The commercial suite split many years ago, during a time when Userland lost interest in apple events, and I was involved with creating the offshoot. Your description reminds me of the problems I had to solve then to handle dynamic dictionaries, so perhsps you can build your dictionary with the glueFACTORY suite, which survives until this day. Its free and part of bayly.root, which you can download from http://www.baylys.com/help/. No guarantees though, its been a while since I looked at it, and I avoid MS software, so I don't have Word..
