I have to report a similar problem. I got my 9.1 installation (on Mac OS X 10.3.9) running fairly reliably, though it still seems to run into a problem after a week or so.

However, I was unsuccessful in upgrading to 9.5. After installing it the best I could get was a few hours of operation before a crash, and sometimes the crashes came every few minutes.

The only advice I got from Userland was to go back to my 9.1 install which I did. It is more reliable, but that doesn't seem like a real solution and I haven't heard any more about this.

Like you, I'm a very big Frontier/Manila fan. In fact I got my college to adopt it for serveral hundred faculty sites and I then developed the training and support for it. So this isn't some kind of angry rant - though it has left me a bit disappointed recently.
