You should be able to use the JavaScript box on the Advanced preferences page. Just check to ensure your templates include the {javaScript} macro in the head section.

You can also save the JavaScript snippet to a file, upload the file as a gem/file and then use an include to reference (if you don't want the JavaScript in the head section and are using curly braces)
