New Message: config.root problem

Trying to do "Manila: Admin Site: Clean referer stats"

1. Nothing in maintenance screen that mentions referer stats or config.root.

2. Tried to save database as to config.root (1.2 Gb) getting an error : "There was an error packing:

config.manila.stats.referers.medlit.referers

Internal database error: attempted to read a"

Can I just delete that table or the whole stats table?
